Baby Snails?

Gday everybody,

this forum is great and has been most usefull for use in setting up my tropical tank.
thanks to all for the help.

My question is this.

Bout a week ago my snail died.
Any how i look in my tank today to find 1/2 a dozen baby snails of slightly varying sizes all hanging around my heater suction cups!

Will they survive? Should i be doing anything in particular to help them along?

i only have Platies, Guppies and a sucker thing in my tank. Is all very friendly.
It is a five foot tank.

What type of snail was it?
What do the babys look like?

They should be okay.

If you don't put any plant food or water treatments in and just leave them they shud be ok.
