Hi,

I have 2 Guppy Fry approx 4 weeks old (rescued from community tank). One male and one female. My question is... The male has developed a black spot on his tail, overnight? Is this normal colour development? I am a newbie, and although I have researched big time, I have not seen anything to explain the sudden change. The two fry are growing really well, are vigorous and healthy

Thanks, thought so,but did not expect overnight change!! They really do grow fast

Guppies and endlers both develop their colors at between 4 and 8 weeks. It can be rather rapid but is not a problem. They are just starting to grow up and color up a bit.
