mummy and daddy had some babys in my breeding tank, daddy started bullying mum and damaged her fin, daddy got put back in main tank

should i put the mother back too?

Sorry Adam, I can't answer your question but I just wanted to say congrats!
Also, these are the very same fish I'm thinking of getting next - would you recommend them and how easy/hard were they to breed?

I would definitely recommend them, really interesting fish, like its plant life and i wasnt even trying to breed them all i did was ask for a male and female, thats it, i noticed that they were bubble nest making so moved them into a breeding tank next thing i know they had made a new nest and bred, all i know is they love plants haha

Put the father back into the fry tank, he'll guard & take care of the eggs. The female needs to be removed, at least that's how it's done with most Gouramis but I'm not positive about Honey Gouramis. After the eggs hatch you should remove the father also.
