near stratford upon avon. you are definatly on about dolphin not elehhant nose?

what fish have you got? where did you get all this info?

elephant noses are tricky because of they're feeding requirements, they dig around in the substrate for food so you must ensure there is a good amount of live food getting to the substrate and not much competition for it.

other than that and needing a relativley big tank they're not too bad.

it is a baby dolphin not elephant nose. :/ erm they HAVE TO HAVE BLOODWORMS AS PART OF THER DIET

I think it may be the

Mormyrus tapirus

or Mormyrus longirostris that your refering to.

baby dolphin was down the page miss wiggle i am not a twit head! dont try and make me look stupid!

Well, they're a sort of non-elephant-nosey elephant nose :D As far as I know their requirements are similar to the ones-with-the-nose: meticulously clean water, live food for which they must not be outcompeted, large tank, generally speaking not a beginner's fish.

That sort of attitude isn't tollerated here.
Miss Wiggle isn't trying to make you look stupid. It is still an elephant nose, but is infact called a "no-nose elephant nose".

thankyou Neal, i wasn't trying to make you look stupid at all, just trying to get clarification what fish you were referring to!
