Awww sorry about that , I’d say it depends on how fast you caught it being dead any more than a few hours I’d do a water change , I’d do one out of paranoia anyways just because a fish died regardless if it’s to do with water quality lol

yep, id do one out of paranoia too

guppy, choked on a big sinking wafer or something.... :(
I’m sorry to hear that... :(

I would remove the body immediately and perform a 40% water change. We learn from our mistakes - next time you feed definitely crush the flakes up more.

haha i dont use flakes, the guppies are picky. next time i will make the "powder" out of sinking shrimp and various bugs thinner... it is a 75gallon tank so 40? will be kind of a pain.... alright, ill do 20%-40%

You actually don’t need to do a WC if you removed the body immediately. We usually recommend the person to perform a water change because the body may have started decomposing and releasing excess ammonia.

yes, i will still do it as i am paranoid

Sorry.
If by baby you mean a fry, there is an infant mortality rate and sometimes, here and there, fry will just die.
If you're worried about water quality (like you haven't done a partial water change in some tome) then maybe you need to do a water change, otherwise, no worries.
