ok, so here is what the bubblenest looks like today

If you look closely you can see some of the babies hanging off the edge of the leaf, they look almost like little black dots.

video of the bubblenest. starts off a bit slow and wobbly, but soon you can see babies bouncing about all over the place! although its a bit blurry, sorry

I am totally loving all of these videos!
It's so fascinating to watch!

:good:

Thanks so much for sharing it with us :D Cn't wait to see more!

to feed newly hatched betta fry you need really really tiny live food. it has to be live as they feed from a hunting instinct, if the foods not moving, most fry won't eat it.

vinegar eels are a type of nematode (like microworms) you grow them in a dilute cider vinegar mix. unlike microworms, they can survive form quite a long time in the water column, and they like to swim near the surface, so ideal for young bettas.

i also have microworms and waterworms (which look exactly the same, not really sure what the difference is) growing on mashed potato cultures and oatmeal cultures.

and i have attisons betta starter as a backup/trial
