My baby betta's have had to be moved into a large translucent box for the rest of their growing time as my new HM will need their old 8 gallon tank. There are only about 7-8 babies so not the most successful batch but I will keep updating this as they grow. I have one really strong one starting to get his/her stripes so looking forward to them growing up...
The set-up...

Is there a lid on there? I know adult bettas can be renound jumpers. Looking forward to pics :D

There is a lid but as they are only young the lid is kept off during the day so they can have some light. I've got a few pics ready just got to upload them.

Pictures!!
This is a Birds eye view of the box they're in just to confirm they have a working filter and heater in there.

So for the quality I had to use my phone...

Aaaaaah its that filter :) fair enough XD I used 5 of them in a goldfish fry tank... Pretty decent little units from what I remember... And the foam inside them comes in extremely handy :p

Yeah I like it, does the job it's intended for.

do you have snails in there?

Yeah to try and keep the food that's left on the bottom to a minimum but I still clean it out every 2 weeks and do W/C every 2-3 days to keep the bottom clean and water quality high so they grow.

i think i might have the same snail as you and it keeps having babies (have 11 of 'em +the momma). is is like 1/2 an inch long with a spiraled shell? i have no clue what to do with mine, i have no algae so it is in a glass jar that has algae and i put in my fry tank once in a while

Mine are MTS(Malaysian Trumpet Snail) so they usually bury under sand or grave but I wanted them in there and they have helped keep the dirt levels down.

mine doesnt do much when she is in my baby tank but i clean it like ever 2 days so it doesnt really matter :#
