Babies!

What wonderful pictures - congrats!

I have just upgraded to a 250 L tank as a joint birthday/xmas pressie! I will soon be adding more fish . I currently have a community tank consisting of a guppy, platy, danios, panda corys, BN plec, black phantom tetras and 2 german blue rams - do you think a pair of convicts would gel with these guys?

my pink female is about to release eggs krib she has fattend up and the tube has appeared :p looks like i will be posting some pics soon we can compare :p anyways congrats on your batch

Congrats! and thanks! I cant wait to compare.

What wonderful pictures - congrats!

I have just upgraded to a 55L tank as a joint birthday/xmas pressie! I will soon be adding more fish . I currently have a community tank consisting of a guppy, platy, danios, panda corys, BN plec, black phantom tetras and 2 german blue rams - do you think a pair of convicts would gel with these guys?

Honestly, the Con's would kill your other fish. They need to be left alone , as they are vicious. Your tank isnt very big any ways. I would consider doing a guppy/Corry/ Tetra mix in there. You simply dont have the space to do more.

agree convicts will have your guppies for dinner when they get big enough plus the tank is not big enough for convicts let alone adding more fish if you like cichlids why not going for a dwarf tank with some apisto's or rams they arent too overly aggressive

and krib i have my new 8mp camara fone tday gonan take some pics and post of my new 55gal and my cons

A 8 MP Camera Phone? W-T-F? My Phone is only a 3.2 Megapixel Camera. Im jealous! Cant wait for pics!

I made a typo - its a 250 L tank not a 55 L  - I did change it but you guys must have seen it before I did!

I already have 2 x rams - any other suggestions? I love the personality of cichlids are there any others that are not too agressive that will fit in?

Here is a new video I took today ( yes I am aware that the plants look horrible, but that is a step up from what they looked like 2 weeks ago):

I just noticed this, congrats on the youngins mate! i recently picked up a pair of convicts we'll see if they breed naturally, (i dont want to entice them as of yet)
