nice pics i have a male striped and a female pink they have shown signs of breeding digging pits and flaring gills they have been in together about a week how long would you say before they start as im hoping soon my stats are ammo-0 nitrite-0 nitrate-10-15 temp is at 26

No clue, honestly. When you see the breeding tube start to appear, laying is imneant( sp?).

Last night, my little Cousin Zack dumped in 2 Oz. of Micro Pellets. I took 20 g of water out via-syphon, and i havent had any spikes, but * fingers crossed*

could it be the fact that one is pink and the male is striped ??? or is that not a problem

That is not a problem whatsoever. Do you have a pic? They may not be male and female.

they are deffo male and female the male is bout 3 1/4 inch and has a nuchal lump the pink female is pink(obviously) with like red markings as the striped convict would and she is abour 2 and half inches they have been sniffing round the tank flaring gills no fighting though

my pink female is about to release eggs krib she has fattend up and the tube has appeared looks like i will be posting some pics soon we can compare anyways congrats on your batch
