This mare was siezed from a Maryland farm several months ago with 36 other horses. Her body condition was a 2 and they didn't know she was pregnant until baby showed up.

OMGahhh how cute! Are all of those foalies yours? If not, you're still lucky to spend time with them. They are all gorgeous, I can't believe that mare came from being a 2! She looks like a nice 5 now =P they all look super happy & healthy. I totally second the nomination for pic #2, that is horsie-calendar-worthy!

Awww, how cute! Are they your's?

Love the scratching one! My Minis do that all the time, only they prefer to do that and scratch their nose with their hind leg at the same time. My foals are still getting the hang of it, and regularly start tripping and falling down the hill while attempting it.

none of them are mine. They're some of the new babies at the farm in maryland i used to work at, except for the arab who lives on some property my friends are renting. Took them a few weeks ago when I was down in the area. They're so cute. And the little arab baby was such a little camera hog.


If I'd had time i would have gone down again this weekend. They had the last baby born today (about a month late) and he came out with hocks already as big as his mother's and at 11.1hh.

That last foal is going to be huge Are they Quarter horses? The second one looks like a paint!! I've just been looking to buy a paint foal but thats all gone wrong

the first is a full irish draught, the second an irish draught/APHA cross, the third and forth are the same arab baby. And yes, that 11.1 hh colt will be a monster, but irish draughts do come in a wide range of sizes from about 15-18hh.

and i supppose you can nominate two, as long as two people nominate them -lol-
