Babies in my tank

Help!!

The first babies have appeared in my tank. Unfortunately they are not fish babies, but snail babies.

Should I get rid of them? So far (as I can see) I have 7. Possibly more, who can tell with my rock decorations. How many do they have at a time?

Do pet stores take them?

What kind of snails are they? Do you have plants? If you have plants I'd get rid of all snails as they will eat live plants. Snails are very prolific my ramshorn snails lay eggs once a week at least. Some LFS will buy snails but they have to be full grown. If you don't have plants and they are apple, mystery or ramshorn snails I'd leave them. It's fun to watch the baby snails grow.

Anyways, are you planning to raise 'em? be prepared for a colony..
if you want to get rid of them, just buy an assassin snail.

by the way, what type of snail is it?
