So, another one of my fishes are pregnant, and i've decided to leave the babies in the tank this time. So, what can I do to make sure that they survive? I really want them too. That would make me so happy. But how can I make sure that they do survive? :/

First step, you really need to separate the young from the adults before they are eaten - try and get one of these nets

After that, you will need some food that the young can eat. Hopefully someone more experienced here can help you :good: good luck ;)

What kind of fish is it?

It's a red wag platy. Her name is Awha.

For a typical livebearer to have lots of fry survive, try providing adequate cover. I use java moss for mine. It gives a mass of tight cover that adult fish cannot swim through but that the fry can treat as almost wide open spaces. This is a clump of java moss in my guppy tank.

This is another clump in a 10 gallon Heterandria formosa tank.

I really do not like the breeder traps and breeder nets. They cause enormous stress on any but the smallest of livebearers and are a problem for maintenance if you try to keep newborn fry in them.
