They are ever so cute, I think my kids are way too young, but something to consider in the future.

sell them at my local pets at home, they look rubbish when you see them with your own eyes!

Not to my taste, but they can be OK if you keep the right type of fish in them..that means small fish.
One thing to remember is that fish do see in colour, and unnaturally brigthly coloured surroundings can often be a source of stress.

I think they would be cool for kids, but honestly, I would not want one.

I would not want one but as nukeonekitty has said they are good for younger children (with parental supervision of course) and I guess they'd be okay for a couple of shrimp or something really small and at least it comes with a filter, as some small tank like this don't There's nothing worse than a small unfiltered tank.
