so i have a new shrimp tank, i just put a white slate rock in there to act like a long shelf, and i find a shrimp stuck in the rocks...so because of the move, and my cumsyness, there is a 1 inch ghost shrimp stuck up to his waist on my aquarium floor. i wait a few minutes and notice a rescue team is on the way.

they march out to their wounded friend and amazingly, before my eyes, pull this shrimp from the rocks.

after witnessing this i do a shrimp count. ok there should be 7...oh no! i notice a body. so i feel like crap because this tank might not be working correctly (OR SOMETHING) and well...im pissed! a couple of minutes later the biggest shrimp starts to eat it. GREAT, at least i dont have to go in there and retrieve the body! THEN i notice, what i believe to be, one of those tiny organisms people sometimes have. a little water bug (little little). ive recently been wanting some of those , god knows why, and one came with my new plant.

following the little buger left me into the middle of my green wendtil, i find my 7th shrimp and that body was obviously whats left from molting.

coooool

uh....you should really let your shrimp (or any other fish) eat "bodies" especially if you have no idea why it died!

It didn't die, it molted, but I do agree that if something died from a disease then def not a good idea to let it get eaten by others in the tank
