Awesome Oscars

Hey guys i was so excited i had to start a topic (which i haven't done in ages)
I was trying to get a convict out of my big tank and as you may or may not know there fast as hell.
Any way i started to get a bit angry which in turn seemed to make my oscar angry, first he avoided the net, then tried to bite me, and then wait for it......

He started chasing the little convict towards the net for me. Not once but like five times, it was like having a cattle dog in the tank. It was almost like he was sick of me splashing around and worked out what i was doing and decided to help me get it over with quickly.
Anyways i was soo stoked on my oscar i went and bought him a few treats(crickets) has anyone else seen similar?
PS I never would have moved the con if it wasn't for "oscar the great".

If you need to ketch fast fish like convicts in a huge tank like a 100 gal plus your best bet is good old fasion DIY fish trap i caught my yellow labs in 3 minutes .

I've heard that oscars will play with a ping pong ball with holes punched in it..you should try it and tell us how it goes

thats pretty cute when my tigfer oscar was small about 3" or so i had him living in my 75g with a platy, and when i was trying to get her out becausei knew she would be dinner the oscar was doing the same thing he was like chaseing her towards the net to help me, i couldnt belive what was happening and i never told anyone because i knew they wouldnt belive it but its true, and once i got her in the net the oscar just went back to ripping out all the plants.
