Well that would be cool, but a tank like thats begging for some big tankbuster fish like red tailed catfish, channel catfish, dragon hi fin plecos etc.
Either that, or i'd keep loadsa types of fancy goldfish or non-fancy goldfish or even koi in such a tank set up.
The problem with putting small fish in such a tank would that they'd probably get sucked up into the filter with the strength of filtration you'd need with such a gigantic tank.

That article was in Tropical Fish Hobbyist too. Pretty awesome!

Can you picture it? 4000gal of mbuna.

its a nice tank, and it has nice fish...but it looks realy bare! theres no substrate in it, a sort of bald tree, he could make it look much better! but it is a good design. but there could be mored one to make it look "better". sorry!

i saw that article too on pfk. Imagine having to go in and clean your tank. that would be awesome. i would make it a reef with sharks and all kinds of guys. imagine how much money he spent on that!!!

That is simply brilliant! I love reading the history of the guy! Wish I could afford that. I recently helped on a similar project whereby a guy turned 8 massive rectangle ponds into indoor tropical ponds. It was interesting helping with the right equipment to use etc.
I would have to go Mbuna in a tank like his though! Or possibly Marine if I won the lottery! Or maybe Rays! The possibilties are endless! Would most likely have Mbuna though!

lol! I'd probably get nice, semi-agressive fish and swim with em :p
