Aw Crap

I used to use Stress Coat Plus + manufactured by API. Then just a few days ago I switched to Prime manufactured by Seachem. I have nothing bad to say about Stress Coat Plus +. I switched because Prime supposedly takes ammonia out of the water if there is an ammonia spike. I only had it for two days but only time will tell. :)

StressCoat + also makes ammonia non-lethal (neither removes it) but from reading here, Prime is much more economical. I just ordered some myself since I do so many water changes.

And to MisssMarie, Bettafix isn't a medication but an herb, Melaluca. Just so you know.

Thanks for the headsup, I figured it might be able to help a bit? Would Almond Leaves be a good thing to buy?? I hear it helps them stay healthier, but I also hear it destroys water quality??

I'll try to find some Prime then!

I've been using StressCoat + for a long time and it works fine. I just ordered Prime for the first time because I understand it's more economical, but I think both accomplish the same thing.

I don't know anything about almond leaves. I'd imagine they'd eventually rot and foul your water.

I have used Stress Coat + but it wouldn't take out ammonia if there was any. That is why I ordered Prime instead because I have heard better reviews regarding that feature of the product. I'll be testing the water shortly. Results will be up in an hour or two! :D
