Automatic Fish Feeder

Folks,
Going away for just over two weeks, so looking for a feeder, anyone recommend any?
Previously I have just left them for a week, and they have been fine...

From my research, automatic fish feeders can be a bit hit and miss and some will let all of the food out at once, which isn't ideal!
 
I have used this feeding block in the past which appears to be better than most....but as for an automatic feeder, I would personally stay clear

Are you able to get someone to feed them a few times while you are away?

I tend to leave them.
 
If you can get someone in then drug dosing boxes for the elderly can be a godsend as you get to portion the food out rather than rely on a friend.
 
If I did set one up I'd probably get around the all the food at once problem by only feeding once in the week.

There's another thread with this same query, and if you could get someone to come in just once while you're gone that would be fine for the fish. Leave out the food you want to put in the tank and hide the rest. I've left mine for 9 days with no food and they were fine. However, they were really glad to see me ...

If you can get anyone to feed the fish it's a much better than an automatic feeder.

It's a bit more expensive than the majority but has much better reviews and worked fine for me.
