Automatic Feeder Or Just Leave For 2 Weeks?

Ok planning to go away for 2 weeks, so I have to decide do I leave the tank alone or get an automatic feeder?

Could those who have had successfull experience tell me what they did please

My fish are in my signature.

There is a chance I could maybe get someone to come over once each week but Im a bit funny about letting people feed my fish anyway.

I know this will have been asked loads before but any help much appreciated.

Put the food in preprepared containers like tablet boxes for people on medication. Fed once a week they will be fine.

buy those holiday feeders which are sold in blocks just throw them in your tank and let them release and be comsumed by your fish.

Those breakdown feeders normally just add a constant stream of excess ammonia into the tank rather then being actually eaten by the fish, so I have heard.

I use an Eheim automatic feeder on my saltwater tank all the time. I love it. It automatically drops the pelleted food I use up to four times a day, I think, and will turn and drop food up to two times at each feeding. I bought it originally because I went on vacation and I leave it running now all the time. It is worth it to me.
