And it was meant to be a sarcastic joke, it's pretty obvious it's dirty lol

some of that stuff is pretty cool, i hope i can find an auction near me once, id like to go to one.

Ohh, they really are alot of fun. You never know what your going to find. I saw some fish there I REALLY wanted. But, they were going for 30 bucks easy. They were Labidochromis sp "Mbamba"

Here is a male:

Male "Mbamba"

Female "Mbamba"

They are gorgeous. When juviniles they are jet black with yellow fins.

Some nice pick ups there Kribensis. I was sorry to miss that auction but had to work 12 hours that day instead. I had been looking forward to meeting Tolak but had a last minute crisis at work. I have run into you before at that auction and at the CAFE auction but it was not meant to be this time. I have a heater that looks a lot like yours that I got brand new. I think the paint job is actually intended to help the heater just blend into the background, kind of a crude camo effect to break up the outline. My next chance is the auction in 2 weeks at the Circle City club in Indy. I love the possibilities of unknown product availabilities at an auction and try to bring along some of my goodeids to most auctions so that people can have a chance at a few. Last spring I also sold some of my nice molly fry at your auction and got a better price than I had expected.

Hi - What a huge variety of stuff you managed to get.

I'd be a bit cautious tho - especially with old test kits and half open bottles. Lots of these chemical based things are stabilised, but the stability doesnt last that long once the bottle has been open. ...I wouldnt trust the test kit from 1982! (or was that just you saying the packaging looked like it was from the dark ages..? if so then it might be okay).

Personally I wouldnt trust anything chemical older than 5 years (unless it has been stored in a cool dark place), and then would only use it with caution. Some chemicals can go nasty after a while.

Good spotting of the albinos and the heater tho. A spare heater is always a great thing to have!

Thanks! I actually have some pic's of the angels and some of the plecos. They are not that good in quality though, they are very dark, and I used a photo editor to lighten them up a bit, so they are a big, well, crappy!
