Then what’s up with Terry Thomas ?Huh!!
As a 72 year old English woman I can say that my teeth are excellent - so says my dentist. In all my 72 years I have had just 3 perfectly healthy wisdom teeth removed due to the way they were growing, that's all. I still have the remaining 29 teeth which I clean with a toothbrush and interdental brushes every day.
You are the exception for British teeth, just like you are exceptional on here when it comes to helping people with water quality and other issues.Huh!!

You clearly haven't seen the trend for Turkey teeth over here these days! You are the exception for British teeth, just like you are exceptional on here when it comes to helping people with water quality and other issues.
I have seen some shocking smiles due to bad teeth on people living in the UK. It's not as bad now but 50yrs ago over half the people had awful teeth from a serious lack of dental care. Nice people just don't let them smile![]()
I'm due at the dentist tomorrow, £55 fee for my appointment. Cheapest in the whole village. We only have 1 NHS dentist whose waiting lists are 2+ years now..Even the BBC knows it...nothing wrong with English teeth.
bwah ha ha ha haaaa. sorry couldn't keep a straight face saying that![]()
There shouldn't be much more expense for a doctor or dentist when it comes to covid and PPE. Basically it's a matter of wiping everything down with disinfectant, which they do anyway. Wearing masks, they do that anyway. There's not really any extra cost besides the receptionist having to wear a mask during covid. But since covid is "supposedly over", the cost should have come down but they didn't.My brother-in-law in South Wales says he can't find an NHS dentist, though whether that's because he wants one on the doorstep and won't travel even a short distance I don't know.
Our dentist used to be NHS then she decided to go private. We could have transferred to another dentist in the same practice but she's so good that we decided to stay with her and pay. Luckily for me all I need is a check up every 6 months and tartar removing every few years so it doesn't cost that much for me.
Though I was shocked by how much the cost went up as a result of all the extra equipment needed as a result of covid!
No idea what trigeminal neuralgia is but I had a flu virus for the last 2 weeks and after about 6 days with a blocked up sinus and throat, the virus went to the right side of my face and head, and I had tooth and jaw pain for 3 days and a headache, and that side of my face was really painful to touch.Sunday evening I thought I was going to have to eat my words as I developed toothache. I woke up yesterday to find my whole jaw was painful, as was the side of my face and it hurt to brush my hair on that side. Not toothache; a flare up of trigeminal neuralgia. It doesn't usually last more than 3 days......
