Atison's Betta Pro

Well FINALLY got my Attison's Betta Pro, but still need to know how much to feed. It says on the instructions to feed twice a day - normally I feed once a day, but will feed twice a day if that is best.

How many pellets per serving? They are a tad larger than what I was feeding (New Life Spectrum Small Fish), so I was thinking maybe 4 pellets in the morning and 2 pellets in the evening?

Does that sound reasonable?

We give 3-4 pellets twice a day depending on the size of the betta. Anywhere between 5 - 8 a day is fine so you can split it anyway you like

Thank you, Netty, thank you!!! I KNEW you would help! Well, 6 is between 5 & 8 and I figure they are the most hungry in the morning so 4 pellets in the AM it is with 2 in the evening.

Also, I notice the container says to use within 6 months. Does it go bad after 6 months??? Or just lose some of it's potency?

Another favor if you have the time, please. Can you take a look at the post I just made in the "Wizard" thread and give me your opinion on the protein issue?

Hey.....not sure about using it after the 6 months period as with all ours it tends to go before then. I pick out the smaller ones for the juvies and the adults get the bigger pellets. I really like to make life hard for myself
