Today I went to the garden center again. To me that's always a real treat. Got myself some plants for the backyard and some rabbit snails.

I used to garden outdoors/ I mostly did flowers but also a few veggies-especially some tomatoes and plus some herbs as well. ANd then I got aquariums. Next came planted tanks and thus ended my outdoor growing except for the herbs  So the only thing I would buy from the garden center became clay pots for use with plants I wanted to make mobile. I would also buy plastic hose components for my moving water through hoses. I did not want metal connectors. Ultimately, it became easier to get what I needed online.

I actually have bought more things for my tanks from the stone and gravel yard than from the garden center.

And isn't the name rabbit snail and oxymoron? I mean a rabbit is a pretty fast moving animal and a snail is a pretty slow moving one. What do you feed them, inedible food?

To be honest, I still don't get it why they are called rabbit snails. You already said it yourself why this is weird...

The next thing you know is that coming soon to a LFS near you will be dwarf giant gouramis and giant dwarf gouramis.

Spend more time at the garden center

"Enquiring minds want to know"(The phrase originated in the 1970s as a slogan for *The National Enquirer*, an American tabloid newspaper)
Rabbit snails are called that due to their distinctive pair of long, ear-like antennae. These antennae, protruding from their heads, resemble rabbit ears. This characteristic appearance is the primary reason for their common name.
