About 2 years ago I bought some assassin snails to help with a snail problem in one of my tanks (I had some hitchhikers in some new plants).
Before I received the assassins, I totally stripped this tank to rearrange it and sorted the snail problem manually.
When the assassins arrived, I placed them into the tank as I didn't have anywhere else for them. They have been breeding successfully since then.
I've moved their offspring to my other tanks as I like the look of them.
Anyway, for the last few months I've noticed that some of the offspring are exhibiting other colours.

The actual colour is more cream than indicated in the photo, there is a slight green cast in the image caused be the tank light being filtered through a thick layer of floating weed.
Has anyone seen this before??
