Anyone know anything about them or keep them?

Saw some in my lfs and managed to resist the impulse of buying some so that I could do some research. Internet seems thin on the ground although it suggests 12 cm (male larger than female). Aggressive and can eat anything smaller than three quarters it's own size!! Is that true?

Any info appreciated
Thanks

All true apart from the size, Mystus leucophasis can grow to lengths of 12 inches (30 cm). Like all catfish of the Mystus genus they are predators and have huge mouths, tankmates need to be equal sized or bigger, slow moving and sedentry fish may be eaten one bite at a time  Certainly not a fish for the general community tank.
