Asian Biotope Plant Advice

I'm starting a new 20 gallon tank and I want to make it a Asian biotope themed tank. I'm fairly new to using live plants in my tanks and I was wondering what would be a good group of easy to keep plants that would fit the kind of biotope I'm trying to create. Any advice is appreciated!
