We've always said, they do better in larger numbers and listed reasons why it 'may' be... but here is the proof.

i agree with the comment made by 'Black Ghost', they used 10 neons!! wow!

^^ Yeah... I only read it after I posted that. I presumed any fish science in PFK would at least have been checked as being 'reasonable'...
I also agree with 'black ghost' comment.

However if you just look at it in term of stocking densities it does have some basis.

oh yeah, but like they say they are only confirming what we already know. It would be good to have done the study on a greater mass though, then we could really observe what natural schooling is like.

I've certainly noticed my Yellowtails looking happier since I boosted their number from 5 to 12 last week. They used to stay against the back wall all the time, but now they regularly wander around, especially at feeding time where they now are almost as quick as the Pearl Danios!
