Arghhh Cleaning Betta's Out Is A Chore

any ideas how to attach my java moss to my divider?

Hi Phoe, I know how you feel, I have been cleaning my 6 tanks yesterday it took me 5 hours About Java Moss you have pinned topic on Plants section about Java Moss walls so that would be a same thing. I was thinking about doing same, but my lfs didn`t have any JM for sale since christmas will have to order online I think.



Just checked that Plants section , sorry that was for creating carpets with JM , but if you google JM wall I`m sure you`ll find detailed description how to do it. Hope that helps

Yep, its the worst thing about fishkeeping, but i am always happy when its done  About the JM you could get fishing line tie some line from the top of the divider down to the bottom, do this about 6-8 times, about 1cm apart and then you will be able to weave the JM, do you know what i mean?. This may take some time though but should look good once finished. I may even do this actually

im sooo bloody tired ya know, and trying to catch Spyro, he didnt want to be caugh, so i cupped him into my hand and put him in the tank thats been set up whilst i cleaned his, little bugger

and the girls too, bloody net evaders when i try to put em back, when i caught them from their tank to put them into the spare plastic one, they all sat at the top easy to net out, and when i went to put em back, noooo they evaded me grrr

too late to do my moss thingy now tut

*ahhhhhhhhhh*....the joy of a main tank from which you don't have to remove the betta or any other fish in order to water change, I don't think I'd get too many tanks, got ADF's but even with 2 tanks takes me like 30mins if both are due on same day

I plan to get one betta for the frog tank, and a new little tank for another one, then that's it..........the betta bug will only go as far as I am willing to let it

you could try using fishing line to attach he moss to the deviders and eventualy it will just sort of latch on itself

When you say cleaning - I take it you don't mean water changes? I do water changes with Archie in the tank - he doesn't seem to mind.

I've got 16 tanks whichi have to do on and off over the weekend or it totaly knackers me. But the big tank with the external filter keeps wonderuflly clean, i may in time replace filters on the other bigger tanks for external filters. All i do on this tank is about a 10% water change. weekly. The gravel and bottom of tank still looks like it did the day it was put in.

i keep on top of the cleaning too, the girls tank runs an external which is more than powerful for the tank, and keeps it clean, its just once a month i like to strip it all down, clean all the ornaments, the glass, the lot

the boys tanks arent so bad, but they do tend to make a mess lol
