Hi folks

18 gallon tank
6 panda corydoras
1 gold bristlenose
1 male betta

Ammonia and nitrite 0 - nitrates about 5
Change at least 30% water per week.
Temperature about 24.5

Prime dechlorinator, no other chemical in the tank or in the air

New panda corydora the other day.

Have lost 3 pandas in the last 5-6 months. One today (have done an 80% water change) They've all been ones I got from one breeder and were tiny when I got them and just never grew well. One had fungus on it's fin (about 6 months ago), the other two had no signs of illness. Just found them dead. Betta doesn't hassle them.

And now, just to top it off, my beautiful big betta has a tiny (maybe 1.5ml long) area of fuzzy, white fungus on the very end of his ventral?? (underneath) fin.
He's swimming normally, looks 'happy', is eating well and haven't isolated him at present as don't want to stress him out.

Opinions please.... should I medicate or just go with keeping the water really clean at present ? If medication, what is suggested (I am in New Zealand)?

Try to keep the water as clean as possible until it clears, his immune system should be good enough to get rid of it and keeping his water clean will help that. Just keep a good eye on it to see for improvement or if it starts to cause necrosis of the fin.
I'd up the water changes to 50% weekly after this clears up.
