They're 50 plants for £10 - I'd only get them if they grow easily in sand.

i would get them!!!
these plants would grow in sand, just as long as you added a root tab, especially for the swords,
and maybe dosed liquid ferts.

also what is your lighting?
do you dose any co2?
 
It's a 60l tank lit by 15w T8s
 
i'm confused, i thought that the bacopa, hygrophila and cabomba needed high lighting, and the bacopa co2 aswell. if they don't could i keep all of those with 1.25wpg, and no co2?
