Are These Any Good For Clean Water?

Looks like someone has tried to con me. Luckily I haven't paid for the tank yet - but I asked for confirmation of the size and it has come out at 630 litres with dimensions of 93" x 23" x 18". A LONG way off and a far cry from the 945 litres I was initially told. NOT happy, snottogram being written as we speak.

So, I am now in the market for a large tank! Anyone got one for sale? :(
Happend with me, supposedly bought a 6ft x 2ft x 2ft which was 5 x 18 x 18(came with big solid hood, stand etc), i knew it wasn't 6ft x 2 x 2 when I saw it, but I didn't complain as it was pretty big, and we had travelled a long way. When I got it home however, and compared it to my rio 400 I found that it was smaller. :look: You just don't expect sellers to be so irresponsible.Oh well, I sold it for more than I bought it for along with getting some free fish!

Well the unusual one I bought is now here and set up. Came with fish etc. It's only 180 litres (counted the water as I put it in) but it's big enough to add my angels which was the whole point. Two of the fish that were in there died in transit, but I am now left with:

3 Bala sharks
3 clown loaches
8 tiger barbs
2 bristlenose catfish

and of course now my two angels. Just needs the facia re-doing as it wasn't to a high standard, but here's the tank:

thats in situ at the house I bought it from, not my house!

No offense mate but that is one awfull tank. Fish dont swim in mazes and have no space in the to swim because of the large section thats missing. Also bottom dwellers are a big no no such as the loaches as there is no where for them. And balas in there are far to big.

Ah, but there is a master plan here... We are still searching for a large tank which we will transfer over. I wanted the tank with no fish, but it was either take the fish or tey get flushed :( So I took the fish, and still looking for a large tank to house everything.

That tank, you see an awful maze that has fish too big for it. I agree entirely on that point. But what I see, is two bodies of water with an island in the middle... Crabs, or amphibians perhaps? That was the thinking behind it anyway. Have plenty for them to climb on and out of the water, with the island to bask on.

What do you think?

On a side note, my Kribensis are once again doing the nasty, and now I have moved the angels and the columbian tetra over, fingers crossed the fry will survive this time without being eaten!

I can't see the pics at work matey, but just a quick word...watch the tiger barbs with your angels. Known to be fin nippers those barbs. May well be fine, but just keep an eye out :D
