Having recently lost a lot of my fish due to white spot I am in the process of researching what to go for next. I currently have Tetras, peppered Corys and a Dwarf Gourami.

I love the Gourami but it would be nice to have another peaceful medium size fish that would get along with the others. I have read mixed reviews on people keeping one Kribensis Cichlid in this size tank with similar species but not sure if it might get aggressive with the Cory.  Do you have any other suggestions?  I have had a good hunt and have not come up with many options.

Cheers.

Some smaller cichlids such as  apistos, tetras such as hatchets, Hyphesobrycon complex and Hemigrammus complex of tetras

Thanks for that, the apistos are more like what I am after, was worried that they may bully the Cory's.  Not really wanting any more tetras or shoaling fish, more of a larger specimen.

Dwarf neon rainbow they are great when you have 6+ of them darting around

I think 214jay only wants something like a pair and neon dwarfs could only overstock it

Yeah really looking for one fish, maybe two of a larger variety.  I must admit the Dwarf neon rainbow are very nice, I could get away with 6 with my current stocking but I dont want it to get too busy in the open water.
