Hello :)
I am going away on Wednesday for 3 weeks, then when were back I'm moving (about 15 minutes away by car )2 weeks after our return.
I know it's going to be a massive rush with 3 children in tow, cats and hamster, Dirty holiday clothes, and all the household packing and moving it..... I know I won't have enough patience or time to do it properly and transporting the aquarium to its new location.
In total it's 5ft high half of which is the tank, over a meter in length.... Sand bottom.... Fry, territorial fish so everything has to go back the way it was or there will be murders in the tank! Everything that makes a job difficult , anyway.... Is there a company in Manchester uk that can do this for me? I'm taking the easy way if I can....
Thanks

Yellow pages, You may have to get a truck company to shift it. Normally they charge around £30 for a big lift like that. Apart from that I can't give you company names, Don't know manchester.

Some maidenhead stores do full tank moves and have power sources in the vans to help but not sure which ones will do it.

I would try some of the larger specialist shops in the area to see if they can help or recommend someone - Pier, Rare and Abyss are all not too far from you and must know someone that can do it.

Oh thanks for that, I will look into it.
I wonder why there arent any companies tgat actually do it, they would make a killing!

It's way to niche to actively advertise such a service. You need to find the companies who charge a monthly fee for tank maintenance and see if they would do it.
