Are Swordtails supposed to poop a lot? :D

In all seriousness... I have 3 corys in one tank and a betta in another tank. I recently got a Swordtail added to the cory tank.

Man, I have never seen a fish poop so much. Granted, I am new to the hobby... and the corys/bettas are all that I've owned so far.

I have a ton of red and brown stringy poop at the bottom of my tank. Seems like whatever he eats goes through him in a matter of minutes.

Is that normal for a Swordtail?

ive never heard of that
not saying you have bad food :/
but maybe the quality of the food
you give it is bad.

I've been feeding him either Wardley (white/brown) and TetraMin (red) tropical flakes... that would explain the colors. Just didn't expect it to go through him so fast.

Any suggestions on what specific foods/brands I should feed my Swordtail?

sera san premium it has brine shrims daphnia
and lots of other stuff in it it works amazinly well
