Are mystery snails nocturnal?

I recently got a mystery snail and it only ever come out at night. Are they nocturnal?

I had two golden mystery snails and they were all over my 55 gallon tank, very active day or night. They went after my plants so I ended up giving them to my bother-in-law. Now they get to eat plastic plants

No they are not nocturnal. They will roam around day and night, whenever they want.

They aren’t nocturnal. They might just be scared because you just got them and they are still adjusting.
