Are Apistogrammas This Expensive?

[sykogngsta]

Today I went to the fish store and noticed that the Apistos were really pricey.

A pair of Apistogramma Agassizi was $40 (USD)

and

A pair of Apistogramma Cacatuoides was $70

I was wondering if this is the normal price for Apistogrammas? Or are they jsut expensive fish?

Last I looked cacatuoides were $14 a pair on AquaBid.
