Arcadia Light.

I have an Overtank Luminare made by arcadia 2x 25w

Any idea what would be good lights to replace the ones inside (seems to have gone dull)
Im a bit worried atm what with speak of the Interpet Triplus inbuilt relefctor causing trouble.

Money is not to much of an issue I just want something that will grow my plants well.
And not look weird do I need a mixture of light types to look natural ?

I use Arcadia freshwater and find them very good.

There is a list of good full spectrum lights below from the pinned lighting article.

Dennerle - Special-Plant 3000K Warm, yellow/orange
Hagen - Life-Glo 6700K Bright, cool white
Arcadia - Freshwater Lamp 7500K Cool white/green
Zoo Med - Tropic-Sun 5500K Warm white
Zoo Med - Ultra-Sun 6500K Bright Cool white
Interpet - Triton/Triplus 8300K Bright white/purple
Interpet - Daylight Plus 6500K Cool white

I did check that But I have heard a vast amount of good word about the Interpet Triplus but then heard they messed it up

I think it was the daylightplus they messed up? maybe they have now messed them all up.

Triplus is a pink light and would look nice alongside the Arcadia Freshwater Lamp which colourwise is still the best cheap lamp for colour of plants and fish IMO

They are also very easy to get hold of from any chainstore.

The pic in my signature is 0.6WPG of Arcadia freshwater and the pic is as the camera took it (no photoshop or other alterations)

if your in pets at home looking for them the Arcadia freshwater is named Arcadia classica natural daylight..

i find it the other way round with them 2 tubes, i have them side by side and the interpet daylight plus is definitely more green looking and the freshwater which is bright white.

here is a pic, bottom is the Arcadia freshwater then the daylight plus then the triplus (which i have now replaced with an Arcadia original)
