as the topic title and description says... i really like the look of this tank and i was thinking about gettin the 45 or 60litre version for a nice betta/pygmy cory setup

so does any1 have any info on it? google is exhausting at times!!!

yeh i was planning on the 60 litre version but every site i try in the U.k is just outta stock and i dont want the arc version 1 if the version 2 is out in the UK very soon .... i may have to ring up some peeps!

where from KK? are u UK based? ... my search hit a brick wall about 3 days ago and i been considering the juwel rekord smallest tank i prefer the arc tho looks wise

sooo now its time to plan whilst i order and cycle, im guna get the 60litre version (ofc lol) now for a few questions:

1) I have my Old fluval U2 filter which i was guna put in there aswell or should i go for maybe the aquaclear HOB??? (only problem i can see with this is its guna be next to my bed so i dont wana be kept awake lol).
2) Im basing this tank around a Betta hopefully crowntail, but i really wana add pygmy corys too... should i add the corys 1st or wouldnt it matter once the betta is settled in?
3) What kind of numbers could i have with the corys? im guessin 3 or 4? (i know your about KK! )

just some more plans im building up... i think im guna have a piece of bogwood in there with a few live plants nothing too complex

I personally add the pygmies first,8-10 would be a good number,then add the betta,less likely for the betta to become possesive over the tank

i could have that many??

id rather have alot of bottom dwellers than try find something else for the middle which my betta may not take a liking too ... altho i do love espei rasboras tbh! hmmm

Don't they come with a filter of some sort? After my HOTB, I think I will always go for internal or external if the tank is in the bedroom!

I'd have at least 6, and probably as many as 10. It shouldn't matter which order you go for.

Yeh it does come with a filter but i thought the U2 would be a perfect over filtration size 60-100 litres does depend on how technical the filter it comes with is though.

If you could get some photos of the filter which comes with it for me, especially how it looks on the inside, that would be much appreciated

Probably, because they are very low bio-load, but Bettas don't always agree with shrimp..

OOoh I have an arcadia arc tank - the best place to get one is E-bay OR there is a shop that sells them (Paddock Farm Water gardens).

I have the 35 litre version and it's great - I got mine second hand but I changed the light and made a tight fitting lid with it (I have snails and I didn't want any escapees) - my one complaint about the tank incidentally was the lid - it had large gaps around the edge.
