I have a T5 2 x 24W Arcadia Over-Tank Luminere, which is currently running one marine white and one marine blue. It has been brought to my attention that this serve no useful purpose to my planted tropical tank and i have been reccomended to buy a 6700k or 10000k bulb. I have never bought aquarium bulbs for this unit so i have no idea what i should be getting.
Do i have to stick to 2x24W (thats whats in it now)?
How do you know whether its 6700k or 10000k bulb?
Are some bulb makes better than others?
I think the bulbs are 60cm long, does that sound right? (Its sitting short on a 39" wide tank) OTL is probably 36" wide.
