I was wondering if there are any freshwater aquatic plants that can survive acclimation to a marine reef tank?

Any help on leads would be appreciated.

I know there are some plants that will tolerate high-brackish (java moss and java fern) but i don't know if they will tolerate marine conditions.

AFAIK its only the algae that can survive in both conditions, as esfa said there are a few types of plants that will tolerate high end brackish, and lots more that can tolerate low end brackish, but for full marine conditions its only gonna be the micro algae that will survive in both, the nicest to have in marine is the macro algae's/seaweed

Are they truly the same algae, or are they just similar looking algae?

i thought they were the same algae? the hair algae and the brush algae, but im probably wrong ;) it could just be a different algae filling the same gap in the eco system, lol im not good with saltwater myself. ;)
