Ive finaly bucked up the courrage to revamp my tank,I have a rio 240ltr with pressurised co2 Fluval305 filter arcadia lights (original for plantgrowth and a tropical fresh water)
I took out the jewel filter and was astonished by the crap that had got behind and inside where i couldnt reach   and hooverd the sand till my hands hurt  im sure some one wil shout at me for doing this but the amount of crap that came from the jewel filter gave me little choice but to do a complete water change bucket by bucket one in one out with the gravel cleaner. So now i have clean substrate :good: Now i plan to put back my mangrove roots which i have soaking in buckets of a salt solution (supa tonic salts) was told this will get rid of the BBA i had all over them and since i already had some of it thought ide give it a try was also told a mild solution of chlorine bleach will do it too and then soak in the aquasafe to rid the chlorine sounds feaseable accept bleach and fish hmmm :look: any way so hear iam with my tank all bare and would like some ideas of how to re-aquascape my tank .
