i was wondering if anyone has an aquarium in a band rehearsal space. i'd like to put a 29 gal tropical tank in the room because the room is used as a place to hang out as well and i spend a lot of time there but don't know if the fish will die due to the stress of hearing loud music 1, 2 or 3 times a week. if anyone has experience or advice with this please let me know. thanks

Might stress them out if it's really loud.

I play in a band and know how loud it is when you get a kit and big amps blasting out. Would guess the bass guitar and the bass drum would affect them the most.

I used to be in a metal band in the '80's. We practiced at the drummer's house, he bred oscars. Double bass kit, Marshall full stack, 500w bass head through a 4x15 bottom. Incredibly loud, the fish continued to breed & thrive.

If theres a drum kit in there, I'd say no. I have to sit in front of one every week and know how loud they can be. Fish are sensitive to noise and I'd try and avoid it if you can.
