i remember on a site someone was setting up a program like that. They entered in a bunch of plants and fish and stuff so u could do aquascaping and also see what the tank looked liek with all yiur fish full grown in it

There's probably a way to save the info (a file you can copy into another folder and then recopy back into the program) but it's really better to just buy the program and not have to do that.
