Aquarium Size For Breeding, Please Help!

Hi, ive decided i think im gunna breed discus for selling and for showing, its my first time keeping discus so im gunna do one heck of a lot of research into it before I even start to purchase anything. My question is though. If I bought 2 of these 4ft tanks of eBay for the discus to breed in one, then in the other for me to grow them would it be big enough?. My other questions are, could i put them on a diy built stand out of breeze blocks ( i think) and wood and how could i light them up? as the don't have hoods?

Try and keep everthing in one thread mate you have plenty on the go and your info from people will be all over no need seprate threads on the same thing :good:

Yeah, if not then we will send BigbruiserAl round... You seen his Tat's?! :lol:

Unsure if it would be correct, but i would have at least a 4ft permanant house for them, then move them to a 3ft to breed in and raise they fry for a month or so then move them back to their normal tank and you can raise the fry in the 3ft. You may be better off finding 2 3ft's though.

@1Filmproducer its keeps the place clean and helps you gather info sometimes you can miss good info in a forgotten thread. Also i have to keep an eye out with rif raf like tizer and minnt on ere :lol:
