Thanks for all the advice thats been given - it's really helpful. I am of the opinion that the less you add to the water the better - just dechlorinator to remove the chlorine and the rest should be as it is..... Will give the salt a miss i think :rolleyes:

Chemical engineer, actually, and thanks for the compliment. I learned all that by reading many, many different things. I firmly believe that you cannot ever stop learning. I am pretty sure I sourced where I got most of that information, so you can go read them for yourself, and find other information, too.

My thoughts exactly! Some of these manufacturers will sell you anything just to make a bit cash. Half the stuff on sale is virtually useless. :good:
