Hi Snowy,
The cories wont tolerate salt in their water, neither will the tetras you listed. The tetras may let you put in the tiniest amount but in my expieirence its bad news!
For an excellent article on the benifits and pitfalls of salt, read THIS

Hi snowyangel :)

I have many corys and once I learned about the problems that salt can cause, I stopped using it in any tank that my corys are in.

When it comes to my fish, I believe in the saying, "better safe than sorry," so I won't take the chance of causing harm by adding something to the tanks that is not really necessary.

Thanks for the tips guys. Ken thanx for the site, it gave some good points.i never realized my neons would be sensitive because i've used mild amounts of it wiht no deaths(doesn't mean they didn't like it though). I will be more careful in the furture.
