Aquarium salt and fry ????

Hi is it safe to add aquarium salt to my community tank and there is 1 fry in it , the reason why I’m adding salt is because I have 6 gold tetras and there mouths look funny it looks like cotton mouth disease , I’ve just done a water change I’ve not added it yet ,I don’t know what to do can u pls help

Post pics of the affected fish....never add salt or meds to a tank, if you don't know what you are trying to treat in the first place

On its own a water change will not change anything, especially if the apparent disease is bacterial in nature. Make sure you have very good filtering as a first step.
