Aquarium Salt And Discus?

What is the ratio for adding aquarium salt to a tank. I have a 170l with nothing in it at the moment.

Also out of curiosity, do discus fish benefit from aquarium salt?

I spend my time researching fish when I see them but that is one question that I cannot find an answer to.

FRESHwater fish do not need salt. Most tap water has more than enough minerals to provide proper chemistry. It is good to have salt on hand though, it can be very helpful when issues come up.

Thank you very much. Just a lot of people say it's good because it stops problem pre hand. But yes, that is very useful.

It can cause more harm than good as some fish are extremely sensitive to any additions to salt. But for medicinal use its ok
