I found the pictures do eventually display (including links) but it takes a while even with an 8MB connection. Whats there so far looks good, i like the volcano rock idea.

When you say a pump, do you mean an air stone? Any tubing leading to rock will be exposed unless you bury it. Once under the volcano you will see nothing but the air bubbles.

The pix are too heavy I believe. Eventually they come up, but I will be working to make them smaller this weekend. Sorry about that.

What type of paint do you use on the caves?

It's not paint, it's stain. It is applied after the cement has dried. It's non-toxic. There are plenty of manufacturers around.
