Aquarium Plant Selections

looking at aquarium plant selections online seen 1 for a 48" tank and it says it contains 122 plants! 10 mini amazon swords 5 elodea densa 5 bacopa monneri 5 x Hygrophylia Polysperma 5 x Cabomba Caroliana5 x Ludwigia Mullerii
5 x Cryptocoryne Wendti
5 x Straight Vallisneria
5 x Hairgrass tall
10 x Mayaca Fluritalis
5 x Ludwigian Natans
5 x Hydrilla Verticilata
5 x Echinodorus Latifolious
5 x Rotalla Macrandra
5 x Salvinia
1 x Nymphea Spec.
5 x Cryptocoryne Ciliata5 x Amazon sword
5 x Twisted Vallisneria

5 x Eleocharis Parvulus (dwarf hairgrass) is it just me or is that a hell of a lot of plants
 
That is a lot of plants but if you think about how much tank bottom space will exist between plants then maybe it's not so many. Here in the US, a 4 ft long tank can be anywhere from 13 inches to 2 tf from front to back. I'm not quite sure which size you are dealing with but if it's the larger tank, that may just be enough plants. A quick calculation shows thgat each plant would "own" 9+ square inches of substarte in the larger tank and about 5 square inches of substrate in the smallest ft tank. Figure every 3 x 3 inch square gets one plant and it doesn't seem to be so many.
